The State of Georgia has grown in recent years to become an economic center in the southeast; by doing so, our Organization has become key to business-minded people in the Southeast of the United States of North America.

The Chamber was founded more than 13 years ago, in which it has evolved socially and commercially. So in this new stage of the Chamber, we want to welcome you to connect with all the New States in the Region, that our Organization covers.

Our approach is to support and guide them to establish business to business relationships and at the same time, we help companies and people establish business relationships with Ecuador.

MISSION

Promotion and development of commercial and investment opportunities for entrepreneurs in Ecuador and the Southeast USA; as well as support social development through programs that benefit Ecuadorians living in the southeast of the country and in Ecuador.

VISION

Take an active role in the Ecuadorian – American Community of the Southeast of the United States of America by becoming a Member or Sponsor. Your support; will help strengthen the growing relations between the South East of the United States of America and Ecuador, supporting small and medium-sized enterprises to benefit from opening of markets, business opportunities and stronger trade expansion with Ecuador.

Ecuador occupies the 69th largest export economy in the world and the most complex economy according to the Economic Complexity Index (ECI). In 2017, Ecuador exported $ 19.3 Billion and Imported $ 19.3 Billion, resulting in a negative trade balance of $ 18.4 Million.

In 2017, Ecuador’s GDP was $ 104 Billion and its GDP per capita was $ 11.6 thousand. Ecuador’s main exports are Crude Oil ($ 5.63 Billion), Bananas ($ 3.38 Billion), Crustaceans ($ 3.06 Billion), Processed Fish ($ 1.18 Billion) and Cut Flowers ($ 846 Million), according to the classification of the Harmonized System (HS). Its main imports are Refined Petroleum ($ 1.7 Billion), Oil Tar ($ 1.1 Billion), Cars ($ 921 Million), Packaged Medicine ($ 653 Million) and Broadcasting Equipment ($ 390 Million).

Ecuador’s main export destinations are the United States ($ 6.06 Billion), Vietnam ($ 1.46 Billion), Chile ($ 1.33 Billion), Panama ($ 932 Million) and Russia ($ 912 Million).

The main origins of its imports are the United States ($ 3.72 Billion), China ($ 3.62 Billion), Colombia ($ 1.51 Billion), Brazil ($ 865 Million) and Panama ($ 848 Million).
